As the internet windows just closed down on me which was a swine!

But anyway, I had a bout of homesickness today which was brought on by a variety of things which included tiredness and a bit of a rough sleepying habit as well as stress which didn't really help but some things can come around annoyingly. But I was sensible and left the work alone - after my radio lecture - thus spending the afternoon - from arund 3 o'clock - listening to Classic FM/BBC Radio 7 and doddling away quite artistically to myself extremely happily. The end result is six pictures - which will be posted once my camera has been fully recharged - and a much happier Ryu-chan.

Anyway I've not updated much since last thursday but generally everything has been interesting and fun. Fiction Writing on Friday was a good laugh and it didn't matter that I had missed the previous one cause I caught up with everything and we were just going through the openings of books. We're looking at them in more detail this week and I've got one of mine up for review by the class - once I choose between them - which will be interesting. Poetry was fun on Monday - with my random poem getting good reviews but some good constructive critism and they were all intent on the fact that I was trying to create a good piece for children but it was written at work when I was bored out of my skull - before they slammed me into billing line - so it was a bit of laugh. Radio was also fun today, went through everyones plays of what they had written and mine needs a fair more amount of work but I will be going into town to purchase cards in order to write out the plot. Also got to do some limericks as well which is going to be a pain cause I haven't done them in yonks. 

Saturday was fun as it was my first day of work at Primark which involved filling out the stupid forms that have all the same the bloody information that you've already given them a hundred times, then a quick tour round the shop, a quick explaination on how to use the tills and then get on and serve the customers. Well not what I was expecting but meh. It turns out to be a temp job where basically I'm contracted for four hours a week but I can do as much overtime as I want or they require - which means that more towards chrismas I'll be in virtually all day sat/sun but I'm on an okay wage so I can't complain really. Sunday invovled me sleepying in and missing the MotoGP but I saw the repeat with the lads and then went to a footy tornament which was quite fun, though Clair and her croonies turned up but I just blanked them cause they're not worth the time. 

So I'm in work tomorrow from 5-7 and have limericks to write and a radio play to plot - plus some unknown homework for Writing Fiction - but I'm feeling quite good and now I've got Real Media I can sit and listen to BBC Radio quite happily. Going to check on a couple of things - get a drink to though I'm running out and must get some tomorrow - and go to bed.
